Vastu Purush
(Dir: Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar) is receiving appreciation at various film festivals.
The film grabbed National Award for The Best Marathi Film for the year 2002-2003. It is the story of a doctor, Dr. Bhaskar Narayan Deshpande born in a traditional Brahmin family, receives Magsassey Award for his achievements in the field of preventive medicine in the slums of Mumbai. 
 'Devrai' is a sacred grove where diverse nature is given protection under the umbrella of faith, with the realization that each and every part of nature is sacred in this fabric of creation. 'Devrai' is the story of Shesh Shahi who is a schizophrenia patient and completely obssessed by 'Devrai'
The Marathi film 'Chakwa' starts with a simple story line of a person returning back to his village. An Indian Engineer, Tushar Khot working in America comes on assignment to the village of his ancestors. 
Maati Maay
Maati Maay is based on a short story Baayen by the well-known writer Mahasweta Devi. It is the heart-rending tale of a young mother who is trapped between her instincts and needs, and the compulsions of her ancestral duty as dictated by the social system.
'Valu' is a 2008 comedy Marathi film directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni. The film featured in various international film festivals as The Wild Bull. It also became the first Marathi film to be selected in Rotterdam International Film Festival 2008, Holland.

Producer Anuya Mhaiskar’s 'Sukhaant' directed by veteran Sanjay Surkar discusses the serious topic of euthanasia i.e. mercy killing. Pratap Gunje is a lawyer from a well to do family living with his wife (Kavita Lad Medhekar) and son. In a freak accident Pratap’s mother Sitabai Gunje(Jyoti Chandekar) gets injured and her hands and legs are paralyzed . 
Natrang is a 2010 Indian Marathi film directed by debutant Ravi Jadhavand starring Atul Kulkarni and Sonalee Kulkarni. Guna Kagalkar, a poor village labourer, nurtures an obsession for Tamasha- a popular theatrical folk art form of Maharashtra. 
Released in 2012 is this Marathi family drama, 'Bhet' from the stables of famous director Chandrakant Kulkarni, who is well known since his multi award winning directorial debut, Bindhast.
Premachi Goshta

Premachi Goshta is an upcoming 2013 Marathi film directed by Satish Rajwade. The film is slated for release on February 1, 2013. The film features Atul Kulkarni and Sagarika Ghatge in lead roles.
